Dev Diary #009: How the Toto model has changed
Hello, players!
Work on the game is in full swing! Locations are taking shape, treasures are getting lost, and puzzles are becoming even trickier. Our development team is working hard to make Toto’s adventure through the magical world truly exciting!
At the same time, we’re improving existing elements of the game. And of course, special attention is being given to our most important hero — Toto:
We’ve already shared how much attention we devote to gameplay featuring our brave little dog. But game development is an iterative process: over time, we revisit certain elements, refine them, and make them even better. Toto is no exception. Right now, we’re improving his appearance — take a look at how his fur has changed:
On top of that, we’re refining his animations: movements now feel more lively and energetic. This approach also helps eliminate technical issues at different stages of development — animation transitions are now smoother and more natural, without abrupt jumps.
